Two iterations of a site specific installation. The first one is part of "There is a crack in everything", a group show curated by Valérie Hallier during Art Take-Over @ Westbeth. It regroups contemporary artists working in installation, sculpture, drawing, painting, photography and video art. Centering on a dead iMac computer, holding 10+ years worth of personal data and covered with a collage of flower petals, the ubiquitous object becomes an object of contemplation. Around it, recycled containers piled up as fragile totemic towers mirror the “catastrophe in motion” aspect of city dwellings.
