Valérie Hallier - Projects

Valérie Hallier - bio

Valérie Hallier's multiple-media work consists of series and installations that portray a contemporary character. -"Hallier's work follows an integrative continuum that utilizes technology as tool and object, generating an exquisite tension between the humanistic and mechanistic sense of Being." J.Escalona.

For her latest projects, Hallier worked on a commission for the Drawing Center (NYC) and after a LMCC artist residency (Swing Space) on Governor Island, she was a guest of The NY Theremin Society at Pioneer Works (Contemporary Arts Center), Brooklyn, NY. Last winter she was selected to be part of BRIC's first edition Biennial in Downtown Brooklyn.

Miss Hallier's work has been shown internationally including in the US at Medianoche gallery (NYC), the Brooklyn Council for the Arts, the Dumbo Arts Center, the CAS Arts Center (NY), ACM Siggraph (FL) and SCAN Arts Symposium (PA). In Europe her work was exhibited at the ESAM, Caen, France, Nadania Idriss Gallery in Berlin, Germany & ACM Multimedia Arts Program in the UK.
